Terms

1. Geographic applicability
This warranty is applicable only in the country where the door was purchased through authorized distribution channels.
2. Proof of purchase
To enable the warranty claim to proceed, the signed warranty card (included in the user manual) and the original invoice with the date of purchase must be provided.
3. Visual inspection
Visual inspection of door panels should be conducted from a distance of no less than 3 meters from the door.
4. Replacement panels
When replacing individual door panels, the new panel may have different color shades due to aging
and fading of old panels.
5. Warranty periods
Garage door sections (for all door models): 10 years against rust-through or foam delamination.
Residential sectional garage doors (R30, R40, R60, TL40, and TL60 model doors): 5 years for springs, cables, drums, rollers, and hinges under normal use (maximum 5 open-close cycles per day).
Industrial sectional doors (TLP40, TLP40-FV, TLP80, and TLT40 model doors): 5 years for springs,
cables, drums, rollers, and hinges under normal use (up to 10 open-close cycles daily).
Non-standard color painteddoors and special design models (Okoume, Retro, Alumax): 2 years.
Wearing parts of SH1, SH2, and SSD model doors: 2 years.
6. Operators warranty
All operators (excluding LiftMaster): 2 years.
LiftMaster operators:

  • LM50EVFF-02: 2 years
  • LM55EVF: 3 years
  • LM60EVF, LM70EVF, LM70EVK-001, LM3800W, LM750EVGB: 5 years
  • LM80EVF: 6 years
  • LM100EVF: 8 years
  • LM130EVF: 10 years

Sommer operator system: 5 years for the system, motor, and motor controller. Consumables and wear parts (e.g., batteries, light bulbs) are excluded from the warranty.
7. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:

  • Mechanical damages due to improper transportation or handling.
  • Mechanical damages due to improper installation, maintenance, or operation.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Deflection of door sections due to heat absorption (Bi-metal effect); dark-colored doors should be avoided in direct sunlight.
  • Color shade changes caused by natural environmental influences.
  • Humidity condensation.
  • Damages caused by improper storage (in a humid environment, outdoors, or for longer than 3 months).
  • Damages caused by lack of regular maintenance (proof-book registration required).
  • Damages due to use of non-original parts.
  • Damages caused by external influences such as salt, fire, water, acids, alkali, and abnormal environmentalconditions (e.g., salty coastal regions).

8. Production number
Warranty claims can only be processed if the production number is present on the product.
